Library Assistant - Dubai, UAE (Preference for Indians with No English Required) We are looking for a Library Assistant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in books and literature, be well organized and have good customer service skills. Preferred qualifications include an educational background in library sciences or other related field, previous experience in a library setting and familiarity with library software systems. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include assisting customers with locating books and other library materials, shelving returned materials, updating library databases, processing new items and performing circulation duties such as checking out materials. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with diverse patrons from all backgrounds and will need to provide excellent customer service. Preference will be given to candidates who are Indian nationals with no English language requirements; however, all qualified candidates will be considered.
