Job summary

Avanta Works in Dubai is seeking a motivated Librarian to join our team. The role focuses on organizing library resources, assisting patrons, and delivering high-quality service in a tech-friendly environment.

You will work with a team of library professionals to keep the library running smoothly, handle circulation, digital resources, and user support, and contribute to cataloging and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Proficient computer skills; ability to use online databases & e-books software.
• Knowledge of cataloging systems (e.g. MARC) is preferred but not required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Librarian in Dubai. The successful candidate will work with a team of library professionals to ensure the library is run efficiently and effectively.
