Librarian vacancy in Dubai UAE for unskilled workers in the library field.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced librarian to join our library team in Dubai. The successful candidate should have a professional attitude and an appreciation of customer service. We require our librarian to have at least two years of experience working in a library environment.

The primary role of the librarian will be to manage and maintain our library resources, including books, periodicals, databases, audio-visual materials and other digital media. The librarian will also be responsible for circulation tasks such as issuing books and managing digital resources. He or she will need to be familiar with the latest technology for cataloguing library materials, as well as the use of computers for research purposes.

In addition to managing the physical collection, the successful candidate will be expected to provide reference services and support readers in their search for information. He or she should also be comfortable working with both adults and children.

The successful applicant must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have an ability to work independently within a team environment. The ideal candidate should also have strong organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
