Job summary

Avanta Works in Abu Dhabi seeks a Librarian to organize and manage our library collection, assist patrons, and provide research help to students and staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Library Science with 2+ years of library experience, strong communication, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a library setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with research databases and information systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• English fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the library's collection of materials.
• Assist patrons in finding and accessing resources.
• Provide research assistance to students and faculty.
• Develop and implement programs to promote library resources.
• Manage circulation services, including check in/out and fines.
