Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be Indian national residing in Dubai or willing to relocate.
• Biometric passport required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a library setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the circulation desk, including checking materials in and out, collecting fines, and issuing library cards.
• Create and maintain accurate records of all library materials using our online catalog system.
• Assist patrons with research requests and reference inquiries both in person and online.
• Keep the library organized by shelving books, ensuring proper labeling, and maintaining displays.
• Plan and lead programs for different age groups such as storytimes, book clubs, or workshops.
• Stay updated on current literature trends to make recommendations for new purchases.
