Job summary

One Ten Associates is partnering with globally recognised law firms to recruit a Funds Associate/Senior Associate for their UAE offices. The role focuses on investment funds establishment, structure, and regulatory compliance within DIFC/ADGM, with exposure to negotiating fund documents and side letters with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds.

The ideal candidate has 2–6 years PQE in investment funds, solid UAE funds experience, and transactional capabilities; experience

• 2–6 years of post-qualification experience in investment funds
• Solid UAE funds experience, including setup in DIFC/ADGM (ideal)
• Transactional experience with institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds
• Funds experience in other common-law jurisdictions would be considered

Responsibilities

• Advise on establishment and structuring of investment funds in the UAE (DIFC/ADGM as applicable) and related regulatory requirements
• Negotiate fund documentation and side letters with institutional investors
• Support transactional work related to fund launches and investor negotiations

Investment Funds Associate / Senior Associate | 2–6 Years’ PQE | Globally Recognised Law Firms

One Ten Associates is partnering with a number of globally recognised law firms to appoint a Senior Associate and/or an Associate to their growing UAE offices, within their funds practices.

These opportunities would suit lawyers with strong funds formation, transactional and regulatory experience who are looking to develop their career within an global platform.

The open mandates sit within a US law firm and an International Law firm.

The roles:

You will advise on the establishment and structuring of investment funds, including in the DIFC and ADGM, alongside the associated regulatory and transactional requirements. Your work will include negotiating fund documentation and side letters with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds.

Your experience

The firm is seeking a lawyer with:

• 2–6 years’ post-qualification experience in an established investment funds practice.
• Solid UAE funds experience, including setting up funds in both the DIFC and ADGM (ideal, not essential).
• Transactional experience, including side letters and negotiations with institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds.
• Funds experience within other common-law jurisdictions would also be considered.
