Job summary

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise in the UAE seeks a Lease Operations Analyst to coordinate all aspects of leases throughout the contract lifecycle and ensure compliance with terms and company policies.

You will handle billing, receipting, and updates to rental rates and charges, manage credit control, assist with receivables reconciliation, and produce periodic portfolio reports while liaising with internal teams on lease queries.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with relevant accounting designation.
• 2+ years’ experience in aircraft leasing.
• Ability to work in a varied/multi-tasking role.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience with Oracle accounting system.
• Understanding of aircraft leasing and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of leases for the contracts lifecycle and ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies.
• Billing, receipting and monitoring rental rates, Maintenance Reserve charges and invoices.
• Manage credit control responsibilities including follow ups on outstanding payments; participate in restructurings as needed.
• Assist Finance with monthly receivables reconciliation and periodic reporting on portfolio data.
• Monitor lease management critical date events and communicate updates.
• Establish customer relationships and coordinate customer queries with internal stakeholders (Deals Team, AIS, Technical, Finance, Legal).
• Support various departments on lease-related queries and other duties as assigned.

Job description

Purpose: Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Lease Operations Analyst is responsible for coordinating all aspects of leases for the contracts’ life cycle and managing company and customer compliance with the terms of the contract and company policies and procedures.

Key Result Areas:

• Populate, update and ensure the completeness and accuracy of all relevant lease information and lease documentation in the company’s xRM system to make the contractual data available companywide.
• Billing, receipting and monitoring and updating customer rental rates, Maintenance Reserve charges and ad hoc invoices.
• Manage credit control responsibilities for assigned customers including follow ups on outstanding payment. Participate in restructurings where applicable.
• Assist Finance function with monthly receivables reconciliation.
• Periodic reporting on receivables and other portfolio data as required.
• Monitor, track and communicate in a timely manner all Lease Management critical date events.
• Responsible for establishing customer relationships and co-ordinating and actioning customer queries.
• Key liaison with internal customer stakeholders: Deals Team, Aircraft Investor Services (AIS), Technical, Finance and Legal.
• Assist and support various departments on lease related queries where necessary.
• Other tasks, projects and duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Accountant
• 2+ years’ experience in aircraft leasing – Does not need to be contracts management specific
• Proven ability to work in a varied/multi-tasking role
