Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Content Specialist in Dubai to create, curate and manage content across digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our brand voice and objectives. You will develop a cohesive content strategy and produce engaging materials for websites, newsletters and other channels.

You will edit for clarity and consistency, collaborate with subject matter experts, and design instructional materials including e-learning modules and training manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent or experience in learning design or related field.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Experience with LMS or trainer experience.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl.
• Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM).
• Knowledge of front-end languages (JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
• Experience in visual design via mockups and style guides.
• Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a content strategy that supports organizational objectives.
• Create high-quality engaging content for various channels (e.g., websites, newsletters).
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and validate content.
• Design and develop instructional materials including e-learning modules, job aids and training manuals.
• Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging learning experiences.
