Job summary

Amazon UAE is seeking a Content Specialist to develop and curate learning content across digital channels. You will work with SMEs to design instructional materials, including e-learning modules, job aids and manuals, ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms.

You will apply adult learning principles and ADDIE/SAM methods to deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with organizational objectives. On-site Abu Dhabi role with LMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Office applications and LMS.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems or trainer experience.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl).
• Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
• Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models including ADDIE and SAM.

Responsibilities

• Develop content strategy aligned with organizational objectives and create engaging content for websites and newsletters.
• Curate information from appropriate sources and maintain content across platforms.
• Ensure materials are accurate, clear and consistent; adapt content for audience and purpose.
• Edit and proofread materials before publication; validate information with stakeholders.
• Design and develop learning materials: e-learning modules, job aids, manuals, digital resources.
• Apply ADDIE/SAM and other instructional design approaches to learning experiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders throughout development.
• Support Learning Management Systems and provide training support.
