Job summary

Cisco UAE is seeking a Leader of Solution Engineering for the UAE/Middle East to guide architectural strategy across AI, GenAI, software, SP mobility, data center solutions, and more. You will lead and mentor a high-performing team, align Cisco's portfolio with regional digital transformation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to win customer success.

Fluency in English and Arabic, plus a strong track record in technical leadership and a B.Sc.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Engineering or related technical field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience in a Solution Engineering or Technical Leadership role.
• Strong architectural vision and expertise in AI, GenAI, mobility, software, and data center solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions.
• Excellent people and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across levels.
• Leadership certifications is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Your Impact

As a Leader of Solution Engineering in the UAE for SP, you will be at the forefront of Cisco's technology vision in the Middle East. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional people skills, a proven track record in technical leadership, and the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing team. You will be responsible for shaping the architectural strategy across modern technologies, ensuring Cisco's solutions align with the evolving needs of businesses in the region.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Leading and mentoring a high-performing Solution Engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and technical excellence.
• Defining and driving the architecture vision across AI, GenAI, software, SP mobility, data center solutions, and other modern technologies to support customers' digital transformation.
• Engaging with customers and partners to understand business challenges and develop innovative, scalable solutions leveraging Cisco's portfolio.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to align solutions with market needs and strategic goals.
• Driving technical enablement and thought leadership within the Middle East region, positioning Cisco as the preferred technology partner.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Engineering or a related technical field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience in a similar Solution Engineering or Technical Leadership role, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong architectural vision and expertise in modern technologies, including AI, GenAI, mobility, software, and data center solutions.
• Deep technical acumen with hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions.
• Excellent people and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
• Leadership and industry certifications.
• Fluency in English and Arabic languages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Telecom Middle East and Africa region, understanding its market dynamics and customer challenges.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and leading collaborative, high-performing teams.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences at industry events and executive briefings.
• A passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing technical talent.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, AI and automation in addition to core expertise areas.
• Ability to drive innovation and thought leadership, positioning Cisco as a leader in next-generation solutions.
• Fluency in French language.
