Job summary

Confidential Careers in Dubai seeks an Associate Manager, Web Design to lead design direction for websites and digital products. This role blends hands-on design with team leadership, collaborating with product, engineering and marketing to deliver visually compelling and high-performing experiences.

You will define design systems, mentor junior designers, and drive responsive, accessible UI across touchpoints, while managing timelines and working in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven web or digital design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to mentor junior designers and lead design reviews.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and UX principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for websites and digital campaigns from concept to delivery.
• Define and maintain design systems, style guides and UI component libraries.
• Review work, guide usability, accessibility and brand alignment.
• Design responsive, mobile-first layouts balancing aesthetics and performance.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups with Figma/XD/Sketch.
• Coordinate usability reviews and iterate designs from user feedback.
• Work with front-end teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
• Partner with product and marketing to translate requirements into design solutions.
• Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Improve workflows and quality standards within the team.
