Job description

We are looking for an Associate Manager, Web Design to lead the design and user experience direction of our web and digital products. This role combines hands-on design execution with team leadership, working closely with product, engineering and marketing teams to deliver visually compelling, user-friendly and high-performing digital experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design Leadership Lead the end-to-end design process for websites, landing pages, PWAs and digital campaigns, from concept through to final delivery.
• Define and maintain design systems, style guides and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Review and guide the work of designers, providing feedback on usability, visual design, accessibility and brand alignment. Web & UX Design
• Design responsive, mobile-first web layouts and user interfaces that balance aesthetics, usability and performance.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch.
• Conduct or coordinate basic usability reviews and incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate and pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
• Partner with product managers and marketing teams to translate business requirements into effective design solutions.
• Manage design timelines, priorities and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
• Establish and improve design workflows, review processes and quality standards within the team.
• Stay current with web design trends, tools and best practices, and introduce improvements where relevant.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in web design, UI/UX design or digital design, with some experience leading or mentoring junior designers.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design, visual design and user experience work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design principles; working knowledge of front-end frameworks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards and design systems. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Experience working in an agile or cross-functional team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in web or digital design, including some team leadership or mentoring exposure.
