Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled Head Waiter for ISOLA Abu Dhabi to lead a section, guide service teammates and deliver attentive, knowledgeable hospitality. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role focuses on delivering high-end Italian dining experiences with a strong emphasis on guest engagement and upselling.

Qualifications

2–3 years experience as Head Waiter or strong Waiter.
Experience in upscale, Italian, fine-dining or high-volume restaurant.
Strong menu knowledge, sales ability and guest-engagement skills.
Confident leading a section and supporting junior employees.
Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead an assigned section and coordinate Waiters and Runners during service.
Welcome guests, present menus and provide confident food and beverage recommendations.
Take accurate orders and communicate allergies and special requests clearly.
Monitor table progression, timing and presentation throughout the dining experience.
Support upselling and ensure bills are processed accurately.
Coach junior team members and reinforce service standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen, bar and supervisors during busy periods.
