Job summary

ADASI seeks a Principal Integration Technician to integrate UAV payload systems, conduct ground tests, and support flight test preparation and execution. You will operate test equipment during testing and work with engineers to ensure proper functionality.

This hands-on role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with UAV systems, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training in mechanical technology preferred and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in integration and testing is required, along with familiarity with UAV systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools is essential.
• Knowledge of adhesive bonding and composite assembly methods is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and teamwork skills are critical.
• Certifications in LEAN, 3P, or 5S are an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in integrating payload systems into UAVs, including mounting, wiring, and configuration to ensure proper functionality.
• Conduct ground testing of UAV systems such as payloads, sensors, avionics, and communication systems.
• Support flight test preparation and execution, ensuring systems are fully operational.
• Operate and monitor test equipment during testing and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to review test plans and readiness.
• Maintain and prepare test setups, ensuring calibration and functionality of equipment.
