Job summary

ADASI in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Principal Integration Technician to join the UAV integration team. You will focus on mounting, wiring and configuring payload systems to ensure proper functionality, and conduct ground testing and support flight test preparation.

You will work with engineers and senior technicians, operate test equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain test setups with emphasis on safety, quality and precise execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in integration and testing for UAV systems.
• Experience in integration and testing is required with familiarity of UAV systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork; problem-solving ability in troubleshooting issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in integrating payload systems into UAVs, including mounting, wiring, and configuration.
• Conduct ground testing of UAV systems such as payloads, sensors, avionics, and communication systems.
• Support flight test preparation and execution, ensuring systems are fully operational.
• Operate and monitor test equipment during testing and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to review test plans and readiness.
• Maintain and prepare test setups, ensuring calibration and functionality of equipment.
