Job summary

ADASI in Abu Dhabi seeks a Principal Integration Technician to lead payload system integration on UAV platforms, perform mounting, wiring and configuration to ensure proper functionality. You will execute ground tests of payloads, sensors, avionics and communications, support flight test preparation, operate test equipment, and collaborate with engineers.

A hands-on, high-security environment with extended hours may apply; candidates with 4+ years in integration and access to technical drawings

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in integration and testing.
• Familiarity with UAV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in integrating payload systems into UAVs, including mounting, wiring, and configuration.
• Conduct ground testing of UAV systems such as payloads, sensors, avionics, and communication systems.
• Support flight test preparation and execution, ensuring systems are fully operational.
• Operate and monitor test equipment during testing and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to review test plans and readiness.
• Maintain and prepare test setups, ensuring calibration and functionality of equipment.
