Job summary

ADASI is seeking a Principal Integration Technician to specialize in integrating payload systems on UAVs, performing ground testing, and assisting flight test preparation and execution.

You will operate test equipment, work closely with engineers and senior technicians, and help prepare UAV test setups, ensuring calibration and functionality while adhering to safety and quality standards in a high-security environment in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in integration and testing.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with UAV systems is required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools is essential.
• LEAN/3P/5S certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in integrating payload systems into UAVs, including mounting, wiring, and configuration.
• Conduct ground testing of UAV systems such as payloads, sensors, avionics, and communication systems.
• Support flight test preparation and execution, ensuring systems are operational.
• Operate and monitor test equipment during testing and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to review test plans and readiness.
• Maintain and prepare test setups, ensuring calibration and functionality of equipment.
