Job summary:
The Lead, Total Rewards, is responsible for supporting the development and execution of comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that align with the organization’s business objectives and employee value proposition. Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards, this role focuses on assisting in the design and implementation of competitive rewards packages and managing employee insurance programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
General Responsibilities:
- Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems
- Follow the operational strategy in compliance with group delegation of authority policy.
- Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
- Reporting
- Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business and organization’s policies and standards.
- Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
- Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of the total rewards strategy, encompassing compensation, benefits, recognition, and employee well-being initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Work closely with the Manager and senior leadership to ensure that reward programs align with the company’s culture, values, and strategic objectives.
- Support the annual compensation review process, including data collection for salary structure updates, merit increases, and performance-based pay adjustments, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Assist in the evaluation and development of short- and long-term incentive programs, including bonuses and profit-sharing mechanisms that align with performance metrics.
- Help evaluate employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal requirements.
- Support the design and administration of employee insurance programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in managing relationships with insurance vendors and benefits providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective contract negotiations.
- Help develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees about their insurance benefits and enrollment processes.
- Assist in analyzing market trends and benchmark data to ensure the organization’s total rewards offerings are competitive and responsive to employee needs.
- Support compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits regulations, such as tax laws and labor standards, to mitigate legal and financial risks.
- Work with HR stakeholders and Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment between rewards strategies and talent management initiatives, supporting retention and attraction goals.
- Assist in preparing reports and presenting insights to the Manager and senior leadership, providing data-driven recommendations on optimizing total rewards programs to drive employee engagement and business performance.
