Job summary

RAKBANK in Dubai seeks an experienced Assistant Manager - QA to lead testing initiatives and act as SME for Banking Systems, overseeing onshore and offshore QA teams. You will drive QA governance, test automation, and end-to-end testing across Core Banking, Digital Banking, CRM, IVR, ATM and channels.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in Selenium, UFT, JMeter, TestNG and Postman are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/testing experience with 3+ years in lead/SME roles for banking systems.
• Experience across SIT, UAT, performance testing and production releases.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and banking systems integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing across SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production releases.
• Design and implement test strategies, frameworks, and automation solutions.
• Act as SME for Core Banking, Digital Banking, CRM, IVR, ATM, Cards, and banking integrations.
• Collaborate with business, technology, vendors, and partners to ensure quality delivery.
• Manage defect triage, QA governance, risk mitigation, and release readiness.

Rakbank is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - QA to lead testing initiatives and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Banking Systems. This role is responsible for driving quality assurance best practices, test automation, and end-to-end testing across digital banking solutions while managing onshore and offshore QA teams.

What you Will Do:

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, and Production releases.
• Design and implement test strategies, frameworks, and automation solutions.
• Act as SME for Core Banking, Digital Banking, CRM, IVR, ATM, Cards, and Banking Systems Integration.
• Collaborate with business, technology, vendors, and external partners to ensure quality delivery.
• Manage defect triage, QA governance, risk mitigation, and release readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement through QA metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Lead and mentor QA teams while coordinating with third-party vendors and service providers.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/Testing experience, with at least 3 years in a Lead or SME role supporting banking systems and transformation projects.
• Strong experience in:
  • Functional, Integration, Regression, and Automation Testing
  • Banking Systems and Digital Channels
  • Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps environments
  • Test Automation Tools such as Selenium, UFT, JMeter, TestNG, Postman, or similar
• Proven leadership experience managing distributed/onshore-offshore QA teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
