The ideal candidate has 8+ years of UAE experience in commercial lines, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of insurance industry experience in UAE, commercial lines.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting principles and risk assessment.
• Experience in property, liability, casualty, marine and engineering lines.
• Familiarity with underwriting software.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Fluency in English mandatory; Arabic language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all aspects of Property, Liability, Casualty, Marine and Engineering underwriting and claims, reporting to the Head of Technical Department.
• Develop strategies aligning with organizational objectives.
• Overseeing risks in property, liability, and casualty insurance and developing mitigation strategies.
• Guide the Technical Underwriting and Claims Department to ensure efficient operations and high customer satisfaction by developing and implementing underwriting and claims handling procedures, as well as risk management processes.
