Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Inspector - Structural Building Construction with extensive experience in foundations, framing and QA/QC. You will perform site verifications, document findings and ensure compliance with approved specifications and safety standards.

The role requires coordination with engineers, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to support timely problem resolution and project handover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in structural inspection or construction QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of foundations, framing, reinforced concrete and structural components.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect structural works across foundation, substructure, superstructure, framing and completion stages.
• Verify construction against approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Assess compliance with UAE codes, international standards and project requirements.
• Record inspection findings with reports, photos, and measurements.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and project teams; escalate safety concerns when needed.
