Job summary

Al Marwan Group in the UAE seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to serve as on-site technical guardian for a mega-scale high-rise (50+ floors) and a deep basement development. You will bridge the Lead Design Consultant’s vision with the Main Contractor’s execution to ensure constructibility within site constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required or equivalent
• 10–15 years UAE structural engineering experience on ultra-high-rise and deep basement projects
• Licensure in UAE high-rise structural approvals/licenses (e.g., UAE authorities) required
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD and 3D BIM tools (Revit/Navisworks) for clash detection and design reviews

Responsibilities

• Deep Excavation & Substructure oversight during high-risk early works
• Direct Superstructure engineering for core and floor plates in a mega-high-rise
• Review and approve BBS, PT shop drawings, and steel fabrication drawings
• Coordinate with survey team to monitor verticality and foundations
• Ensure compliance with ACI, BS/Eurocodes and UAE seismic/wind design regulations
• Lead temporary works engineering and NCR resolutions
