Job summary

IRTH Group in the UAE seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural activities for high-rise, mixed-use, residential, commercial and hospitality developments across the UAE.

The role focuses on structural coordination, technical review, BIM model management, site support, and ensuring compliance with design, standards, and project requirements. The ideal candidate has 10+ years, UAE/GCC experience, and chartered status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Dubai Municipality Structural Engineer License is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate structural engineering activities across projects.
• Review, evaluate, and control structural submittals and technical documentation.
• Manage and review BIM models and ensure accurate structural model coordination.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve clashes between disciplines.
• Maintain model accuracy reflecting approved design changes and site conditions.
• Review and prepare structural calculation reports, design briefs, specifications, and technical reports.
• Provide technical guidance to site execution teams throughout construction.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve issues.
• Support the Technical Manager in managing deliverables and deadlines.
• Promote communication between technical office and site teams.
• Visit construction sites to investigate structural or technical issues.
