Job summary

Our client in Dubai seeks a Lead Technical Structural Engineer to co-lead and grow the structures team, driving delivery of buildings and infrastructure. You will own technical, managerial and commercial aspects, leading multidisciplinary teams through all project stages and managing stakeholders.

Minimum 10–12 years in structural engineering with at least 8 years in principal/associate leadership in the Middle East; strong UAE standards knowledge; Chartered Engineer/PE desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in structural engineering and project delivery.
• 8+ years in principal/associate-level leadership in the Middle East.
• Proven record of leading complex mixed-use high-rise hospitality residential retail workplace and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority requirements and international design and construction standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred; Chartered Engineer/PE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on structural engineering and project delivery across project types.
• Oversee and approve all structural deliverables including design calculations and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Civil Defense) and international codes.
• Drive integration of structural systems with other disciplines for coordinated designs.
• Lead value engineering, technical audits and quality reviews to maintain standards.
• Represent the company in project meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Resolve escalated technical or contractual issues and promote team accountability.

Our client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy They are looking for a Lead Technical Structural Engineer to co-lead and grow their structures team driving the delivery of building and infrastructure projects across Dubai and beyond This senior role needs excellent structural design skills and the ability to contribute conceptual ideas to projects You will take full ownership of the technical managerial and commercial aspects lead multidisciplinary teams through all project stages and manage stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on structural engineering and project delivery across various project types
• Oversee and approve all structural deliverables including design calculations specifications shop drawings and material submittals
• Provide technical support and review of all structural deliverables including design reports specifications drawings and material submissions
• Ensure compliance of structural designs with local authority regulations Dubai Municipality DDA Civil Defense etc and relevant international codes and standards
• Drive integration of structural systems foundations superstructure facade support etc with other disciplines to achieve coordinated and buildable designs
• Conduct value engineering technical audits and quality reviews to maintain the highest design and execution standards
• Ensure delivery of technically sound cost-effective and innovative structural design solutions
• Represent the company in project meetings and progress reviews with clients consultants and contractors
• Resolve escalated technical or contractual issues
• Promote a culture of excellence accountability and collaboration within the team and across projects

• Chartered Engineer Professional Engineering License e g CEng PE is highly desirable
