Job summary

Worley is seeking a Static and Package Equipment Specialist in Abu Dhabi to lead all static equipment engineering activities across FEED, EPC and detailed engineering for mega Oil & Gas projects.

You will specify and procure static equipment such as vessels, heat exchangers and tanks, review vendor docs, ensure ADNOC and international codes compliance, and mentor a team of engineers in a multicultural project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent; or 15+ years of oil & gas experience.
• At least 5 years in a similar mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical project role.
• ADNOC & Offshore project experience required.
• PMC experience preferred.
• Experience in FEED & EPC phases required.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API 650/620/661/660, TEMA and NACE.
• Experience in technical bid evaluations, vendor management, and fabrication oversight.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all static equipment engineering activities during FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering.
• Provide technical leadership for design, specification, and procurement of static equipment.
• Develop and review datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, and vendor documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Procurement disciplines.
• Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Support constructability reviews, value engineering studies, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability workshops, and technical meetings with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables meet project schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
• Interface effectively with clients, licensors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
