Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a founding Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate the infrastructure for large-scale autonomous-systems simulations in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role blends software maintenance with infrastructure ownership and release validation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep the simulation environment stable.

You will own the stack from compute to runbook documentation, with a focus on reliability, performance, and timely incident response.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and test development.
• Ability to read, debug, build, and trace issues in C++ simulation code.
• Strong networking fundamentals across distributed systems.
• Experience maintaining production or production-adjacent systems under pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication; written runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the simulation software stack across centers.
• Own compute, networking, storage, and environment provisioning.
• Design and extend regression and smoke tests after releases.
• Diagnose failure modes and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with development teams to mitigate risk before releases.
• Monitor system health and document learnings.
