Job summary

Caliberly seeks an experienced Shift Supervisor for an oil and gas processing plant in Dubai, UAE. The role oversees day-to-day operations, coordinating control room and field staff to sustain safe, reliable production.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 6–10 years of experience in oil and gas processing or related plant operations.
• Experience in shift supervision or senior operations roles.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work, process safety, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant operations during shifts to ensure safe, continuous production.
• Monitor process parameters and equipment performance to meet targets.
• Coordinate control room and field operators and ensure effective handovers.
• Lead start-ups, shutdowns, and maintenance coordination.
• Respond to process upsets and incidents to minimize downtime.
