Job summary

Keolishyderabad is seeking a Supervising Rolling Stock Technician to lead a field team in maintaining Dubai Metro rolling stock and associated vehicles. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, component replacements, and on-site diagnostics, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards.

The role requires shift work readiness, strong mechanical and electrical expertise, and the ability to manage records through a CMMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a qualified Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical technician maintaining rolling stock.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience leading a line maintenance team servicing and repairing rolling stock.
• Educational qualification: vocational trade certificate/diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Rolling Stock Technicians to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock and related vehicles.
• Supervise routine inspections, inspect parts for surface defects, replace consumables, and perform minor repairs.
• Test electromechanical assemblies with test instruments and replace/install electrical and electronic parts.
• Oversee wheel truing and bogie overhaul cycles, verifying dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Provide training and act as Key Instructor for relevant courses and supervise train rescue operations when needed.
