Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Resident Engineer in the UAE to lead construction supervision on major packages and to act as the client’s primary technical contact. You will coordinate safety, quality, schedule, and cost controls while directing the supervision team on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil etc.).
• Chartered status is advantageous.
• Dubai authorities understanding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leads the delivery of assigned package on time, cost, and quality.
• Supervise and manage contractors to meet specs and milestones.
• Direct supervision team for day-to-day inspections.
• Maintain high safety awareness and ensure contractor compliance.
• Resolve site issues and present progress to client team.
• Negotiate scope changes with client and key subcontractors.
• Establish and maintain project plans, safety, quality, and cost controls.
• Review technical deliverables and construction programmes.
