Lead Recruiter

Your Impact

You will lead the recruitment delivery for McKinsey Digital practice and/or Client Capabilities Network (CCN) roles across the EEMA region and create and implement strategies to achieve hiring needs, including oversight of awareness building and attraction activities, interaction with candidates, and consulting with the team on exciting and rewarding careers within the firm.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate regional processes end‑to‑end, including application analysis, assessment, and cultivation. You will drive improvement initiatives for relevant recruiting efforts, with a keen focus on diversity and bringing exceptional talent to the community.

You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across the region to scope out hiring requirements and advise and align on best‑fit recruiting strategy, using your industry experience and market knowledge to define the approach. You’ll use your keen eye for data management, navigate our systems, and ensure regular and reliable reporting to leadership and recruiters within your team.

You’ll build networks with recruiting peers across the Middle East and beyond, connect for knowledge building and best practice sharing, strengthen your global network, and contribute to cross‑team projects. You’ll partner effectively with our recruiting support teams to ensure a streamlined interview experience.

Your qualifications and skills

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in executive search, start‑up, corporate recruiting, or professional services firm, ideally within a high‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with demonstrated experience in collaborating with large cross‑functional teams and key stakeholders across diverse locations.
• Proven initiative and judgement, with a track record as a self‑starter capable of working effectively under pressure and navigating ambiguity.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaborative team‑building skills; adept at fostering strong relationships with candidates, consultants at all levels, and recruiting colleagues. Exhibits a positive attitude and openness to feedback.
• Proactive problem‑solving capabilities, with a talent for identifying issues and generating solutions; a drive and enthusiasm for continuously improving recruiting processes.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage and balance multiple projects and work streams independently, while maintaining close attention to detail.
• Highly mindful of external reputation; handles confidential information with the utmost discretion, respect, and care.
• Adaptable to last‑minute changes; able to remain composed under pressure; comfortable working with minimal direction. Willingness to travel, work outside standard office hours, including occasional weekends and evenings.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
