Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Rail in Dubai. You will lead IT, OT, and cyber security planning across a complex railway environment, connecting enterprise systems with operational technology and rail systems.

The role demands extensive experience in IT/OT security, rail interfaces, and cyber assurance, with ability to manage risk, ensure compliance, and drive secure integration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years IT, OT, or cyber security experience in AECO, IT, OT, or cyber domains.
• Minimum 10 years in rail projects, rail operations, or large-scale transportation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT, OT, and cyber security strategies across all project stages for a major railway system.
• Define cyber security frameworks, policies, standards, and compliance for railway systems.
• Coordinate secure integration between railway systems including signalling, SCADA, OCC, and external interfaces.
• Plan and design secure IT/OT network architectures, zones, segmentation, and access models.
• Develop cyber security assurance approaches, risk assessments, testing strategies, and incident response procedures.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, operators, and stakeholders to align cyber and operational requirements.
