Job summary

Petrofac is seeking a Principal Engineer - Proposals to lead the preparation of competitive techno-commercial proposals for clients in the energy sector. The role involves coordinating with discipline engineers, procurement, and subcontract teams to ensure timely, compliant submissions and robust cost estimates.

You will drive proposal schedules, assess technical and commercial risks, and support bid/no-bid decisions, with a focus on delivering value in oil & gas, refining, and petrochemical

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferably Chemical/Mechanical.
• Minimum year of experience in Project Management/Project Engineering Management in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical industries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals in compliance with client requirements.
• Develop proposal schedules and monitor timelines with discipline teams.
• Coordinate with procurement and subcontract departments for vendor inputs.
• Prepare cost estimates, price breaks, and risk registers.
• Support technical and commercial reviews and post-bid responses.
