Job summary

Airmaster Equipments Emirates L.L.C is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to plan, manage, and execute production across the shop floor. This role goes beyond a line supervisor, owning the production plan and driving on-time delivery with quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production planning, process improvement, and workforce flexibility across metal fabrication, electronics, automotive, or other discrete manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production engineering, planning, or operations.
• Experience managing a workforce of 40–100 people.
• Proven ability to reduce lead time and improve productivity.
• Experience coordinating fabrication, machining, assembly and dispatch.
• Lean manufacturing and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or CPIM desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the production plan and hit delivery targets.
• Manage capacity, bottlenecks, materials, and WIP.
• Re-plan quickly for urgent orders and breakdowns.
• Allocate and cross-train manpower.
• Drive lead-time, setup-time, WIP, and rework reductions.
• Enforce standard work, safety, and quality.
• Coach supervisors in practical problem-solving.
