Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi seeks a Lead Engineer-Process to act as the technical advisor for the plant. You will oversee process engineering activities, review lab results, and troubleshoot plant operations to optimize production performance.

The role requires a university degree in chemical engineering with 10–12 years of relevant experience in oil, gas, or petrochemicals, and a strong command of process simulation tools. Site visits and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum requirement: University degree in Chemical Engineering.
10-12 years in process engineering in oil, gas and/or petrochemical industries.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities; experience with process simulation tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize process parameters to diagnose and troubleshoot plant operations.
Prepare and review mass balance calculations and production reports.
Conduct regular plant/site visits to ensure operations run smoothly and provide technical support.
Perform process studies and plant trials using appropriate methodologies and simulators.
Evaluate catalysts/chemicals life and performance; advise renewal when needed.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental procedures across process engineering.
Follow departmental policies, SOPs, and instructions for controlled, consistent work.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of section processes and practices.
