Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting seeks an experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our team for a large-scale gas processing facility project. The role requires a technically strong professional capable of leading process engineering activities across all project phases, from detailed engineering through to commissioning.

Responsibilities include leading PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, process simulations, coordinating with other disciplines, interfacing with client teams and vendors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas process engineering.
• Proven experience in large-scale gas processing facilities and related infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all process engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and process simulations
• Review and approve process engineering documents, calculations, and specifications
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and consistent design
• Interface with client technical teams and third-party vendors on process-related matters
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to process engineers within the team
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
• Support HAZOP, SIL, and other safety reviews from a process perspective
• Monitor and report progress of process engineering activities against project schedule

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas process engineering, with specialist-level candidates also considered
• Proven experience in large-scale gas processing facilities and associated infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of process simulation tools (HYSYS, PROII, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with ADNOC engineering standards and specifications
• Prior involvement in mega gas processing facility projects is highly advantageous
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
