Job summary

Career Maker Bahrain seeks an experienced Prepaid Card Product Manager to own the full lifecycle of a new prepaid card and digital wallet initiative in the UAE. You will drive CVP design, regulatory readiness, go-to-market execution, and ongoing portfolio optimization, collaborating with tech, risk, ops, marketing, and external partners.

The role requires 6–8 years in card products or fintech, strong UAE/GCC market knowledge, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in card product management, prepaid payments, digital payments, or fintech.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in card issuing or prepaid product lifecycle management.
• Strong UAE/GCC market experience in prepaid cards, digital payments, or retail banking.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end prepaid card launches from CVP design through go-live.
• Strong understanding of bank card issuing processes and compliance requirements.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete prepaid card product lifecycle from concept development to commercialization.
• Lead end-to-end launch activities including regulatory submissions, BIN setup, scheme onboarding, and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of all product dependencies.
• Define and enhance prepaid card CVP including features, pricing, rewards, and digital wallet integrations.
• Develop product strategies aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for customer segmentation and segment-specific propositions.
• Benchmark competitors and analyze market trends to continuously improve product offerings.
• Manage performance via KPIs: issuance, activation, load, spend, revenue, retention, and fraud metrics.
• Own P&L including interchange revenue, fees, funding costs, and scheme-related expenses.
• Use analytics and insights to propose profitability improvements.
