Job summary

EMAC Electromechanical Engineering Company is seeking an experienced Site Engineer Plumbing for our MEP Contracting Division on building construction projects in Dubai. You will oversee plumbing works, coordinate with project managers, consultants, and other trades, and ensure quality and schedule compliance.

The role requires a strong technical background in plumbing systems, ability to read drawings, coordinate testing and commissioning, and a proactive approach to HSE practices on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Plumbing Site Engineer in MEP contracting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, drainage, water supply, and sanitary systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and coordination drawings.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and other construction disciplines.
• Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and authority inspection procedures.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• GCC/UAE experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute plumbing works per drawings, specs and schedules.
• Coordinate daily site activities with PMs, consultants, subcontractors and other MEP trades.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and submittals.
• Monitor installation of water supply, drainage, stormwater and sanitary systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, local authorities and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate testing, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare daily progress reports and monitor productivity.
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability on site.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
