Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks a Planning Engineer to support the delivery of a SWRO project in Fujairah. You will monitor, review and report project schedules, assess construction progress and assist in mitigating delays across design, construction, commissioning and handover stages as part of the Owner’s Engineer team.

The role requires strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project, a Civil/Mechanical Engineering degree, and 6–10 years of planning and scheduling experience on large industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical or equivalent).
• 6–10 years of planning/scheduling experience on large industrial, infrastructure or desalination projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project.
• Knowledge of project control principles, scheduling techniques and cost integration.
• Experience in Middle East/UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and monitor the Contractor's baseline schedule, recovery schedules, and detailed work programs.
• Provide high-level input on resource planning based on construction progress.
• Support schedule reviews from Owner’s Engineer perspective for compliance and timely delivery.
• Monitor progress and evaluate performance against planned activities.
• Highlight schedule concerns and track mitigation actions.
