Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Consultant Pediatric Plastic Surgeon to join a leading children's hospital in Abu Dhabi. You will provide comprehensive reconstructive and cosmetic surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered treatment.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Plastic Surgery with pediatric subspecialty training.
• DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Plastic Surgery.
• 5–7 years post-board consultant experience in pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Strong expertise in pediatric reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
• Excellent surgical, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired pediatric plastic and reconstructive conditions.
• Perform pediatric plastic surgery procedures including cleft lip/palate repair and craniofacial reconstruction.
• Evaluate and manage pediatric trauma and complex reconstructive cases.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for pediatric plastic surgery patients.
• Collaborate with craniofacial surgeons, neurosurgeons, ENT, orthopedics, dermatology, and teams.
• Develop individualized treatment and postoperative rehabilitation plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, and care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation per DOH Abu Dhabi regulations.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and CME programs.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.
