Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant Pediatric Craniofacial Surgeon to lead complex reconstructive care for children with skull and facial abnormalities in Abu Dhabi. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to plan staged interventions, manage growth-related changes, and optimise functional and aesthetic outcomes.

Requires MBBS or equivalent, board/fellowship in Plastic/Craniofacial Surgery, DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility, and 5–7 years post-board experience in pediatric

Qualifications

• DOH Abu Dhabi licence or eligibility letter in relevant specialty is required
• 5-7 years of post-board consultant experience in pediatric craniofacial surgery
• Experience in craniosynostosis correction and complex craniofacial reconstruction
• Exposure to pediatric skull base procedures and multidisciplinary care
• Academic involvement, research, teaching and participation in cleft/craniofacial programs strengthens suitability

Responsibilities

• Diagnose pediatric craniofacial abnormalities and plan surgical strategies
• Perform complex craniofacial reconstruction and staged procedures
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with neurosurgery, ENT, orthodontics, and speech therapy
• Provide inpatient reviews and outpatient referrals, planning and follow-up
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations
• Engage in audits, research, and continuing medical education
