Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Lead Process Engineer for an Offshore Island Project to be based in UAE. You will oversee all process engineering for offshore facilities, ensuring safe, cost-effective design and operation across FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, commissioning and start-up phases.

You will manage interfaces across disciplines, perform simulations with HYSYS/Aspen/UniSim, and mentor a team of engineers while adhering to ADNOC standards and international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering is an advantage.
• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for offshore oil & gas development projects.
• Review process deliverables: PFDs, P&IDs, heat & material balance calculations, and datasheets.
• Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or UniSim.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Safety and Operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, API, ASME, ISO, IEC and other codes.
• Support procurement, commissioning, start-up and performance testing.
• Mentor and supervise process engineers and graduates.
