Job summary

KBR Corporate – In-house Engineering in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Lead Piping Designer for offshore projects. You will execute piping designs through Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering, traveling offshore on a rotation to survey sites, verify installations, and collect data for design execution.

The role requires hands-on proficiency with 3D design tools (E3D, SP3D, PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D) and a track record of delivering high-quality, compliant piping deliverables while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of Offshore piping design experience across Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering.
• Experience with ADNOC & Qatar Energies preferred.
• Capable of preparing piping drawings and layouts independently and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform piping design scope drawings for Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering phases.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and project specs.
• Maintain engineering integrity, QA and document control for piping deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients.
• Conduct site visits to collect field data and verify conditions.
• Review vendor drawings for compatibility with overall design.
