Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking a Crewing Team Leader Offshore & Marine to join our clients marine operations team based in Abu Dhabi UAE. This is a permanent office-based role with primary responsibility for UAE operations while supporting regional projects across Saudi Arabia Qatar and Kuwait.

You will lead the Central Crewing function overseeing end-to-end crewing of offshore survey diving and subsea operations across multiple regional projects.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in marine offshore crewing with at least 3 years in supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of STCW MLC 2006 flag state crewing regulations and offshore personnel compliance.
• Familiarity with IMCA crewing standards and offshore workforce competency management.
• Experience managing relationships with crewing agencies, clients, vessel owners and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Central Crewing team, directing Crewing Coordinators and Officers.
• Oversee planning, mobilization, demobilization and rotation of offshore personnel to meet schedules.
• Ensure crew certification, visas, medicals and regulatory compliance for readiness.
• Develop rotation plans, manning schedules and workforce allocation strategies.
• Prepare regulatory submissions, flag state docs and crew agreements as required.
• Maintain relationships with crewing agencies, providers, clients and authorities.
• Coordinate with Marine Operations to support vessel mobilization and changes.
• Manage central crewing database and records accuracy.
• Monitor budgets, personnel costs and mobilization logistics.
• Interface with ADNOC, flag states and regulators on crew approvals and audits.
• Develop and implement crewing policies, procedures and standards.
• Produce management reports on manpower and KPIs; suggest improvements.
