Job summary

NMC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a capable nurse leader to oversee unit care, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate clinical activities with Nursing Management. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs, supervise staff, and promote evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading nursing teams.
• Ability to influence and implement change.
• Decision-making and strong communication skills.
• Licensed registered nurse in the relevant regulatory authority with qualifications.
• Maintain active professional re-licensure.
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Willing to work across departments when necessary.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, appropriate and effective care for all patients in the unit.
• Determine nursing interventions based on assessment data.
• Prioritize identified needs and implement actions.
• Coordinate clinical activities as charge nurse when assigned.
• Collaborate with Nursing Supervisor on staffing for shifts.
• Plan, implement and evaluate clinical programs and care plans.
• Maintain accurate, real-time clinical records and documentation.
• Provide essential life support per regulatory requirements.
• Lead standards, procedures and CQI activities in nursing.
• Promote evidence-based practice and safe learning environment.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.
