Job summary

Al-Futtaim Engineering and Technologies in Dubai seeks a Network Engineer specializing in Cisco and Aruba infrastructure. You will own the network lifecycle from design through deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance across enterprise data networks and security solutions.

Ideal candidates have CCNP Routing and Switching, a Bachelor's in IT-related field, and at least 5 years' experience delivering routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, and network security in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, CS or related field.
• CCNP Routing and Switching certification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data networks, routing and switching, enterprise Wi‑Fi and network security.
• Experience supporting Cisco and Aruba switching and wireless environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement enterprise data network and ICT solutions with customers and partners.
• Configure deployments per approved designs, specifications, and security requirements.
• Install and configure Cisco/Aruba switches, wireless controllers, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor network hardware, applications, connectivity, and performance at customer premises.
• Perform advanced diagnostics to identify faults and incidents and resolve outages.
• Own break-fix incidents end-to-end until service restored.
• Coordinate repair or replacement with vendors and service partners.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and health checks.
• Respond to service requests within SLA limits.
• Perform network upgrades and security configuration changes.
• Execute change management with planning and verification.
• Support routing, switching, enterprise Wi‑Fi, WAN, DNS, DHCP, proxy, firewall, and related infrastructure.
• Apply protocols like IGMP, IPSEC, VRRP, HSRP, STP, OSPF, 802.11 and QoS.
• Use monitoring and analytics tools to assess health and troubleshoot.
• Maintain accurate configuration records and documentation.
• Provide practical training and guidance to customers.
