Job summary

Flatgigs is seeking a Senior iOS SDK Architect to own end-to-end architecture for a cutting-edge maps and navigation SDK. You will work with routing, search, and tile teams, and report to the Founder and CEO, eventually growing the mobile team around the product.

You will design public APIs, ensure strong developer experience, and write documentation and samples for external developers. Dubai-based role with leadership duties.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building mobile software, with substantial iOS focus.
• Expert Swift and deep knowledge of iOS platform fundamentals.
• Proven track record delivering an SDK or library used by external developers.
• Experience with map or navigation SDKs at production scale.
• Strong system design and API design capabilities; can document and teach.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for the mobile SDK.
• Lead and grow the mobile team around the SDK product.
• Define and maintain public API design and developer experience.
• Write docs, guides, and sample apps to support external developers.
