Job summary

HR 360 Consultants seeks a Mediterranean Head Chef for a fine dining restaurant in Abu Dhabi. You will lead the kitchen team and craft an authentic Mediterranean menu to deliver exceptional dishes.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in high-end dining, deep knowledge of Greek, Italian, Spanish, Turkish and Middle Eastern flavors, and strong leadership, cost-control, and training skills. UAE-based or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef / Executive Chef specializing in Mediterranean cuisine.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Greek, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, and Middle Eastern flavors.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Understanding of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Culinary degree or professional chef training is a plus.
• Must be currently based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Menu Development: Design and develop an authentic Mediterranean menu, incorporating fresh ingredients.
• Food Preparation & Presentation: Ensure each dish meets quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor kitchen staff for a collaborative environment.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Manage stock, minimize waste, and control food costs.
• Compliance & Hygiene: Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and UAE regulations.
• Supplier Management: Source ingredients from local and international suppliers.
• Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on trends and introduce new Mediterranean dishes.
• Training & Development: Conduct training sessions to maintain consistency.
