2.1. Coordinate Mechnanical,Process, Piping, HVAC and Fire Fighting Systems engineering activities andassociated procurementprocesses.
2.2. Oversee engineeringdeliverables from Sub-Contractors—including calculations, reports,specifications, and drawings—to ensure compliance with the Contract betweenand the Employer, engineering services agreements, applicable codes andstandards (ASME, API, ISO, and others), approved work schedules, the projectengineering budget, and HSE, environmental, and quality objectives. Ensuredesigns are optimized for technical efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
2.3. Evaluate deficiencies,non-conformities, and technical impracticalities identified by the Employer orthe Construction Team; develop and implement corrective engineering solutions;conduct technical negotiations with the Employer; and ensure formal resolution andapprovals .
2.4. Manage all documentationand correspondence with the Employer, Sub-Contractors, suppliers, and internalteams, including review comments, meeting minutes, and action lists; ensureproper record-keeping, controlled access, and appropriate distribution .
2.5. Prepare, monitor, andreport the Department budget and work schedule; identify technical risks,develop mitigation plans, and implement value engineering principles tooptimize technical solutions and prevent budget or schedule deviations. Define KPIsfor departmental processes, track performance, and implement corrective actionsfor deviations .
2.6. Manage all signedprocurement packages, including engineering, planning, reporting, supply, siteinstallation, and commissioning supervision; monitor technical compliance andprogress of equipment manufacturing; participate in Factory Acceptance Tests(FAT); and resolve any scope changes or technical issues with suppliers .
2.7. Provide technicaloversight and support for site implementation; coordinate effectively withother engineering disciplines; and participate in technical bid evaluations ortender processes as required .
2.8. Conduct root causeanalyses for non-conformities, develop corrective action plans, and ensureresolution. Prepare and/or participate in Method Statements, HSE RiskAssessments, and incident investigations .
2.9. Ensure compliance withthe Company’s Quality procedures, Integrated Management System, anddocumentation requirements. Participate in and contribute to Quality,Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and Environmental trainings andmeetings. Take appropriate measures to minimize environmental impact, resourceconsumption, and waste generation .
2.10. Assess departmentalresource requirements, initiate requests, and support fulfillment. Conductperformance evaluations for Engineering personnel and maintain records .
2.11. Fulfill assigned dutiescompletely, report on time, and act in accordance with the Company’s mission,vision, and values. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned bysupervisors, even if not explicitly stated .
2.1. Education
Bachelor’s degree in MechanicalEngineering or related field (e.g., Mechatronics).
2.2. Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience inMechanical Engineering for EPC based Power Plant projects, including design,procurement, and site implementation.
2.3. Language& Computer Skills
Good command of English(written and spoken).
Proficiency in MS Officeapplications.
Working knowledge ofAutoCAD.
2.4. CoreKnowledge, Skills and Behaviors
Mechanical systems design: piping,HVAC, pumps, HVAC, pressure vessels, and rotating equipment.
Strong knowledge of construction andsite installation requirements.
Proven design coordination and siteexperience.
