Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to plan and supervise field maintenance across rotating and static equipment. You will coordinate preventive, predictive and troubleshooting tasks, ensuring resources and contractor performance meet safety and reliability targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 6 years of oil & gas maintenance experience, with professional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of oil & gas maintenance experience with relevant knowledge.
• Professional certifications related to mechanical maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise mechanical/utility maintenance activities for field equipment.
• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive, predictive, troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure resources (manpower, materials, tools) and coordinate contractor activities.
• Develop long-range overhaul plans based on running hours and performance data.
• Contribute to predictive and preventive maintenance programmes and major shutdowns.
• Maintain, improve or replace equipment to meet availability and reliability targets.
• Investigate equipment failures to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Oversee risk assessments per PTW system and ensure proper documentation.
• Keep maintenance records and log books up to date; supervise inspections and certifications.
• Coordinate service contractors for HVAC, STP and third-party certification.
