Job summary

ArchirodonGroup seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer for its UAE EPC project, focusing on on-site execution and technical support. You will review drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure ADNOC compliance and drive issue resolution through installation and commissioning phases.

The role requires 8–10 years in Oil & Gas/EPC, strong site experience, and AutoCAD proficiency with ASME/API knowledge. ADNOC UAE experience is a plus, offering a challenging, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Strong site experience preferred.
• ADNOC/UAE Oil & Gas project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts and specs for site execution.
• Provide technical design support to site construction teams and resolve issues.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, TQs, method statements and submittals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Procurement, Planning and subcontractors.
• Ensure mechanical works comply with ADNOC requirements, project specs and applicable codes.
• Monitor engineering revisions and ensure latest drawings are at site.
• Support mechanical equipment installation, piping, supports, fabrication, testing and commissioning.
• Assist with MTOs, as-built drawings, inspections and project handover documentation.

Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.

Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.

Role Summary

• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, specifications, and engineering documents for site execution.
• Provide technical design support to site construction teams and resolve mechanical design-related issues.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, Technical Queries (TQs), method statements, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Procurement, Planning, and subcontractors.
• Ensure mechanical works comply with ADNOC requirements, project specifications, ASME, API, and applicable international codes and standards.
• Monitor engineering revisions and design changes and ensure the latest approved drawings are available at site.
• Support mechanical equipment installation, piping, supports, fabrication, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Assist with MTOs, as‑built drawings, inspections, and project handover documentation.
